A Fighting Spirit

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.—Ephesians 6:10-11

There are times we need to fight. And the fight is not with people. It's with the forces of darkness at work within this world. And the strength we need is not human, it is strength in the Lord, and it's mighty—mightier than anything natural, human, and physical. Choosing to fight with mere human strength will only lead to human results and thus, defeat against the unseen enemy we fight. Therefore you will need the whole of God's armor, not just part, partial, or pieces. So don't fight with people. Don't fight in your strength. Don't fight with partial armor. Fight the battle with God and win in his power and for his glory.

DO THIS: Fight with God's strength and against the right enemy.

PRAY THIS: God, help me to see the battle clearly today.
