Anchored

ENGLISH

We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul.—Hebrews 6:19

Life brings with it various winds and waves. These winds and waves arise in differing severity. Today you have yours, and I have mine. Some days they are insignificant, and we traverse them without much difficulty—usually by human strength. On other days they present a real soulful challenge because human strength is not what is needed. We need a bigger and more substantial power. One that exceeds human ingenuity and ability. And if you call yourself a believer, you have an anchor. It's big, bulky, and buries deep in the storms of life. Its qualities are sure and steadfast. So are you tethered to it?

ASK THIS: What am I tethered to?

DO THIS: Grab the anchor and hold tight.

PRAY THIS: God, I don't have the strength today. But you do. Please help me. Anchor me in.

HEAR THIS: Leah Valenzuela: Anchor
