Arm Your Thinking
Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.—1 Peter 4:1
After reading this, you can't be an unarmed thinker. We are told to be armed. We need to bear up under suffering with a mind that is prepared. And if you have ever suffered. I mean really suffered. Then you know that suffering changes the way you think forever. In fact, there is not a man alive who has not been permanently changed by it—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. So don't go out into the world today with a purposeless view of life. Ready your mind, and arm yourselves, just like Christ did when he suffered.
ASK THIS: Is your mind ready and armed today?
DO THIS: Start today with a mind set on things of God.
PRAY THIS: God, the battle I fight today belongs to you. While the world will be against me, I know you are for me.
PLAY THIS: Phil Wickham. Battle Belongs To You.
