Be Strong

"Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go."—Joshua 1:7

Some of mankind's greatest opponents have been weariness, fear, and discouragement. The story of the Israelite nation traces a response to these three stalwarts. An entire generation wandered around and died off in the wilderness because ten of the twelve spies were afraid of those inhabiting the promised land. God promised victory, yet misplaced fear in the hearts of men directed otherwise. How does a man overcome this challenge? The solution can only be resolved through faith in God.

God's direction and His Word are the path to success. The continual reminder of God's Word is critical to stay in tune with God. All of these are a recipe for strength and courage. A man who knows God and His way is a man who displays strength and courage. Absorb the Word in your life and place faith in God's ability to do what He says He will do.
