Because He Lives

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,—1 Peter 1:3

There is nothing like the life God provides. He provides life where there was no life. Also, in our spiritual disobedience that results in death—God recreates. But he does it because he is merciful. He has great mercy, and enough for all humanity in all time. And this attribute of his character—mercy—produces a living hope—resurrection! Are you looking for hope today? Do you need a revival? Then lean on his mercy. We have a great and merciful God and Father.

DO THIS: Come back to a merciful Father.

PRAY THIS: God, I need more mercy today. I am a fallen and broken man. May your mercy wash over me. Give me life through your death. Create me new again.
