Come to the Altar

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.—Romans 12:1

Worship is different than you think. It's not a musical presentation by a band, an event you attend with a crowd of people, or entertainment that stirs you emotionally. But instead, it's a willing presentation of your complete being—your body—and all its facilities wholly and continually to God. In addition, it's done in the shadow of God's mercy. Out of this awareness, God's mercy motivates worship that is spiritual. So as you wake, go through your day in active worship, and give it all—that's everything—holy and acceptable to God.

DO THIS: Worship God.
