Control

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7

Cast /kast/ — to throw something forcefully in a specific direction. That's what we are called to do with those stresses and anxieties that are building in our home, business, church, government, and world. So why do I still seem to think about them so much? Do I not realize that he cares for me? Do I not trust him to handle them? Do I have better solutions? Or is it that I need to be in control!

DO THIS: Give God control, cast them with forcefully in His direction.

PRAY THIS: God, I am sorry for taking control.
