"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”—Romans 12:12
Right now it can feel like each and every day is a struggle. And in these moments in our life, we are desperate for salvation, healing, and a little hope. We are all in this together. And it is in these moments I want God to reach down and rescue me, and others from this situation and its consequences. I will cry out for an end, a rescue, redemption, and salvation—in the hope of relief.
But sometimes God wants me to realize the hope I have in the middle of these circumstances, meaning he's not going to provide me the prompt assistance that I want. Sometimes God wants me to find joy in the hoping, patience in the suffering, and persistence in prayer. And while I may not want these things, they are often precisely what I need. Joy. Patience. Prayer. They are less about rescuing me from my present circumstance, but more about what God's going to do in my future, with a persistent and present hope.
He is in sovereign control over any situation & He does things ultimately for our good Romans 8:28
I hope because God is love, and His perfect love is more than enough to conquer any situation we face
Gd has always provided.
God is about the only thing that I am sure of on the other side of Covid. He is unchanged and unchanging in this time as always. He will be there at the end.
No matter what I do He loves me.
God loved me, God loves me and God will always love me.
No matter how crazy the world gets God is always there for me and everyone
There are many things that give me Hope with knowing and loving our God, the main one is that I know God chose me to do great things for HIS glory and am confident that HE has me on that path in life now and that HE will seek me as I seek HIM
You are always there. Help me to come to you always and in everything
God is all powerful and knows what is best for me …. Now I just have to trust in the direction that he has set before me knowing that everything will be OK.
God is Jehovah Jireh…….My Provider!!!
My hope comes from knowing that God is in control, powerful and loving, and always available. He is the way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness.
Jer 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I know God has a plan for my life.
So many times I faced what I thought was an insurmountable issue and I know without my God with me I would never had made it through.
Praise our God
His amazing goodness and omniscient nature give me hope that He always has plans to prosper me and not to harm me.
that this virus will pass and we will rise above it stronger
I love something our pastor always says. Essentially that God’s past faithfulness should give us hope in His future provision for us. It’s always a good exercise to reflect back on the things that God has already done in my life (even in what I felt were hopeless situations) as a reminder that He loves and cares for me and that He is in control.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. John 10-27:29
He is compassionate and forgiving. I need to improve my compassion for others.
One thing about God that gives me hope is God’s unfailing love for me. He gave us the Gospel, God’s Good News, that as a believer I am no longer required to pay my debt for my sins. Christ paid my sin debt through His death on the cross, burial and resurrection. Christ is my bridge between God and me. The HOPE of spending eternity with the God that loves me.
Because of God’s promises and his gift of salvation, I know that my best days are still ahead!
My higher power God is all my hope. He gives me wisdom, motivation and points me in the right direction. I am so grateful to have the guidance of the ways he is providing me as I am gaining a more positive lifestyle every day and growing in spiritual faith as I discuss everything with him now before landing on any conclusions.
That God is faithfull, and that never alters.
God is in control of everything that happens.
My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’s blood and righteousness. May I have that kind of focus during difficult times.
God thank you for being my ever present hope. You are there when no one else is or can be. You want me to grow through the trials and tribulations that come upon me I thank you for using them to make me stronger in your love and purpose.
God wants long-term good for me, more than anyone including myself. And He sees everything that I can’t – past, present and future. That gives me hope.
My son and I listened today…so thank you Vince…My focus is knowing that my hope is in that God is completely in control and HIS plans will prevail….my son mentions his focus of hope is that he can do all things through HIM!!
That He can be trusted with this life and the next! I also pray that you just send a special blessing to my friends Chad and that other Guy today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Today i will rejoice in the moment i am in and allow God to make the changes i need instead of me trying to control what i can’t.
Just knowing that he’s there for me, in good times and bad, always give me hope.
God is for me, so who can be against me?
I am focusing on how God is and has protected my family and I during this pandemic! Of the 5 things that show a hightened risk factor for people, I have 3 of the 5. I’m over 60 (73}, I have a heart condition (6 Stents), and I’m a type 2 diabetic. God has been so gracious in His proctection.
So far the theme for today has been that God is in control, so thankful that He is in control.
My present hope is that God will finish what He’s begun. Our labor is not in vain. Praise God!
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 NIV
Remembering that God is good all the time!
I find joy in the hope that Jesus will return one day to gather His chosen ones and bring them to eternity with Him!
He has always gotten me through tough times…always.
So thankful Hod is always there and never forsakes us. I have been learning to trust His timing not my own
That he is still protecting and caring even when it is not in the ways I may prefer.
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
That He loves me unconditionally
A how so true your words are Vince. I always never so down enough to stop and be joyful enough to see the positive work God is doing thru me with this struggle or the patience to slow down because I have to fix it or solve the answer instead of praying and seeking first God and his kingdom. Thank You for the encouraging words of wisdom today.
Brothers, in this time of uncertainty we all have the joy of know that this is his play and when God wants to call us home, he knows where to find us.
But that being a known fact in my heart I am going try not to do anything make him look for me.
Thank you Father for always placing within me the Hope that today’s Wisdom, Knowledge & Understanding is better then day before.
Knowing that GOD gas control and not man….
Opps3 should say “HAS”
I’ve been a follower of Jesus for almost 50 years, and all he has brought me through in that length of time, gives me great hope for the future.
My blessed hope is the soon return of my Savior.
God is always present in the moment. There is not one second of the day that He is not with me.
Knowing that God never leaves ou or forsakes us.
Knowing that he is the same God of the Old Testament and the New Testament. He is the same God that accomplished all we read about in the Bible. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He never changes even when our circumstances do and He is always faithful.
His love conquers all.
What gives me hope is that He will never forsake me. When I feel He is not near, it is because I pulled away; not Him.
Through the struggles he is right next to me even though it may not seem like it.
He loves us enough to die for us
I have hope in his promise that, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Using Todd’s words of “the older I get” (the longer and deeper my relationship with our Lord) the more easily hope is the attitude I’m blessed with and live out. Something to give testimony to as I look to encourage others to go deeper in their relationship with God. And with hope comes peace and strength. Our loving Heavenly Father wants us to have these and more. Let’s draw near to Him with trust and thankfulness.
God meets us where we are, I know I fall and sin, so Him meeting me where I am, not being ANYWHERE NEAR perfect, that gives me hope.
God blesses those who are faithful to Him.This gives me hope that one day I will receive a reward.
Psalm 19. Through creation I see the power of God that no one can ever take away from Him.
Knowing whatever obstacle comes up for me and my family, God will be there guiding us and giving us the LOVE that is needed to overcome the obstacle!
God gives me hope, that even on my worst days, he is near and I can turn to him
Everything God is doing in my life is meant to draw me to him and develop my character. My hope and confidence is that I know God is at work in me and I am grateful for it. I may not want what is happening, but i KNOW it’s for his glory and my ultimate benefit.
Jeremy, I like your post yesterday Too!
God you are Real in my Life!
Thanks for being my Father and giving me guidance and peace.
He never fails me!
He loves me perfectly in every moment of every day
He is omnipotent. Regardless of what those around me do, say or plan- God is in control of it all.
His love for me is unconditional so no matter when I mess up he still loves me!
the fact that GOD has never let me down. he always steps in right when im about to give up.
it actually drives me crazy, makes me very angry sometimes. knowing he is going to provide the help i need for that moment, sometimes i feel like he just hangs me there. i know that is not true.
but my human nature makes me doubt .
thank you and God bless
God’s promises
A Mircle, my daughters ct scan came back yesterday……cancer is gone, scan was clear,,,,,to God the Glory!!!!!!!
His perspective
We have a hope because God has always been faithful. He promises that He loves us and watches over us. Our hope is not that we will see tomorrow, or that we will get a bigger boat. But our Hope is that He will be with us, will walk down every path with us, and will be waiting at the end of the line for us. And, at that time, He will give us a new body and welcome us into His presence. The trials of this world are short. We can hold on, digging deeper into relationship with Him, until they are past.
Tim – the older I get, the more I look forward to that new body 🙂 But also, the older I get, and consider all that He’s brought us through so far, I sometimes feel like I get a little deeper glimpse of His Kingdom work – the long view of all that He’s doing. I find tremendous hope in that.
I have hope of creating a stronger connection with my family.
My hope is that Christ will carry me.
God never changes.
To use a golf analogy God gapped up to reach me like I try to reach the green. He sent Jesus to connect with me. He controls my entire environment to reach me.
My hope is that God has a plan for me and even when I am frustrated God has a reason for it. To hope that God guides me throughout my life.
God’s Grace, is certain in these uncertain times!
He is the great provider!
Focusing on the truth the God never changes and she loves me
Peace for today and great hope for tomorrow, great is thy faithfulness LORD unto me.
The hope I have in God is that His love for me, my family and friends never falters or lessens. He walks with me through every storm and every sunny day. If I get ahead of Him and stumble or mess up, He is there to lift me up, dust me off, give me a reassuring loving hug and says “Let’s move forward”.
God has been through it all, He is always by our side and how I handle the adversity is the witness people look at.
This life is not the end, my hope is in the future a eternal home praising the King of Kings and Lord of Lords with my brothers and sisters forevermore
That he created me in His image.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Just reading in John 15 this morning where Jesus reminds us to remain in His love and in this we will find His joy in us and it will be complete. So even though we’re in the middle of a storm I have to remind myself to “remain” especially when I feel my joy being depleted. That’s a promise we can stand on in any storm!
He is in control
God has ALWAYS provided
HE is Able !! HE s Faithful !!
He continues to make a path where there is no path.
God gives me hope because I know I’ll get to see my daughter again when I die and I know she is with Him.
God is always there for us
God gives me hope that my prodigal children will come home one day.
All through the bible God has been faithful to those that are persistent and faithful in prayer in tough times. Job, Moses, David, Paul… Let me remember those men today and be faithful like them.
One thing about God that gives me hope is that He constantly shows His love and care for me. Through EVERY trial and every hard circumstance I’ve experienced in my life, God has ALWAYS seen me through, He’s NEVER abandoned me and has ALWAYS been my source for peace, contentment and strength
He shows himself daily for me.
Holy Spirit’s guidance and presence
the quality of God that gives me hope, that I’ve been focused on for the past few weeks is His presence in my life. Every time I turn to Him I find Him there. Waiting, comforting, guiding, disciplining, listening, encouraging……
That he knew us in our mother’s womb. He wants to give us hope and a future. My wife and I have been struggling with infertility for 5 years, and we are pursuing foster and adoption. We are waiting for our home study to be complete. It is a struggle that I have to daily place in God’s hands.
“The Lord your Hod is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you, if you return to him.” 2 Chronicles 30:9
This gave me hope!
He loves us unconditionally…
Amen to that brother!
Now I must do better to follow this…as I place a lot of conditions on myself.
He promised to NEVER leave me or forsake me!
Knowing that I can trust him!
Now that I get a little more time with my family, I have hope of having a daily influence in all of my kids’ lives! I pray that my influence is strong.
