Cry Out

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.
The Lord preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.
My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever." Psalm 145:18-21

God draws near to us when we "call on him." And even though God may feel distant in seasons to you, it is not he who has moved - it's you. It is clear he loves to "save" those who reverently "fear him." And it appears he hears your "cry" and gets great joy from being your Savior. His role after all - Savior of Man.

All that is required is a willingness to "cry" out to God. It's a call for rescue. It's a willingness to give up human effort. It's a willingness to give in to him who can save you from any hopeless situation. Why continue to battle when he waits to save you from the battle? God, your savior, will "preserve all who love him," because those who don't are left to their demise.

DO THIS: Call on God right now. Out loud and do not wait.
