DELIVER WITH CLARITY

14 If you will fear the Lord and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the Lord, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the Lord your God, it will be well. 15 But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord, but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then the hand of the Lord will be against you and your king. 24 Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you. 25 But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.” 1 Samuel 12:14-15, 24-25

As God's appointed liaison, Samuel was responsible for delivering messages between God and His people. Israel depended on him to provide God's Word and instruction. He was a conduit of leadership put in place by God, the leader of Israel. Therefore, it was crucial that Samuel excelled at his role in leading the people per God's instruction. The people rebelled against God and asked for a king to judge them. God's response delivered through Samuel was unmistakable.

The clarity in which Samuel laid out God's Word left no one wondering what to do. God used this man as His mouthpiece, and there was no guesswork in following the prophet Samuel. Understand that God uses men to communicate on His behalf. God's man is a clear and compelling communicator who understands and plainly speaks God's words. He doesn't let personal feeling or agenda cloud the message but delivers it as God intended. Be like Samuel by clearly communicating God to those around you, not letting yourself get in the way.
