“The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;" Psalm 19:7-8

There are days you will be dispirited, disorganized, depressed, and downhearted. They might be only a moment or last for longer seasons, and every man encounters them. When these moments come, it's important to know where to turn, and the psalmist encourages us to turn to the unfailing truth - the "law, testimony, precepts, and commandments of the Lord." It appears he believes when we need "reviving, simplicity, rejoicing, and enlightening" that Lord has all the answers. Not our flighty friends or popular philosophies, but the Lord. This is because God's truth is guaranteed to work every time because it's features are "perfect, sure, right, and pure." And isn't this what you want in these moments?
