"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God," Ephesians 2:19

What an incredible statement of identity for men. We are "fellow citizens." As if you too enjoy the privileges of dual citizenship with two passports. One a passport to material membership, and the other a passport to spiritual membership. With the later, you now have passage as "members into the household of God." And this membership enjoys the privilege of being fellow citizens with "the saints." God created a new rule, a new family, and a new home for you. Yet, you still hold an old passport. At present, while you live in this world, you are members of another. Therefore travel here as a "stranger and alien." Live in your future identity, not the present reality.

PRAYER: God, thank you for giving me membership among the saints, and may I live today in this identity.
