Encouragement
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25
Would you like to have one "unwavering day" this week? Then hold fast to something stable like your "confession of hope," because God is firm, stable, unmoving, and always "faithful." As you know, "God is good all the time." With this knowledge, you should be "encouraged," and also be "encouraging" to others. This is one of many reasons you should "not neglect" brotherhood and relationships. Doing life alone is unencouraging, and in loneliness, you are guaranteed to waver. Instead be a brother today and encourage someone. After all, there will be days you will need it too.
DO THIS: Encourage someone.
PRAYER: God, give me a moment today to encourage someone else. May I be a source of strength when they need it most.
