"how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?" —Hebrews 2:3

Escape Rooms. They are showing up everywhere. And for some reason, they have become pop community entertainment. The basic concept is to pay to lock yourself in a room for 60 minutes and see if you're smart enough to find and solve all the clues within the time to free you and your team. By discovering and solving the clues, you are freed from the bondage you paid to participate in. And how similar this is to our spiritual reality. You pay to play in spiritual bondage, and we spend most of our lives trying to figure out how to get ourselves out of the mess we have gotten ourselves into. A few discover there is no "escape." That you can't get yourself out. You're a victim of your own decisions. And the truth is all humanity is trapped in the same condition—spiritual bondage. Locked in a prison of flesh. Rotting in self-worship. Doomed for eternal destruction. But, there is salvation. And Jesus has the key. Don't "neglect such a great salvation" when the answer has been given to you and the world.

DO THIS: Ask Jesus for the key. Accept his salvation.

PRAYER: God, I am imprisoned by my decisions. Save me. Rescue me. Unlock the door.
