Feeling Defeated

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18

Every man feels and experiences the agony of a defeat. In friendship, work, family, and school. While this moment is very "present" to you right now, you are not the only one in life who knows defeat. And it will produce feelings of loneliness that make you feel alone - but know you are not. There are many who have experienced the very same "sufferings" you are encountering at this moment. So instead of dwelling on your sufferings, might not it be "worth comparing" them to something greater in the future. Maybe even the "glory that will be revealed to you." So today lift your head. Turn your gaze to the future. Fix your eyes on something more than life's current catastrophe. Focus your mind, heart, and soul to the One who saves.

DO THIS: Live undefeated.

PRAYER: God, yes I'm down and defeated. I am beaten and in despair. Give me the strength to look beyond. Show me your future and present glory.
