Forgiven

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.—Mark 11:25

Well, yesterday I forgot to write a Devo. Yep. I did it! And I didn't even realize I forgot until someone graciously reminded me. And while I guess I don't really need forgiveness for missing a Devo, it reminded me that we all make mistakes. God calls these mistakes "sins" when they are motives or behaviors outside his will. They are grievances against our God. We may consciously or unconsciously do them—but they are still qualified as sins. And we all do it. Every man sins. No one is exempt from this virus. But there's good news—God forgives the man who seeks forgiveness and extends it to others. May that man be you today. Live in forgiveness and know freedom, joy, and life.

DO THIS: Forgive one person you are reluctant to forgive.

PRAY THIS: God, show me the power and joy of reciprocating and endless forgiveness.

HEAR THIS: Crowder: Forgiven
