For many this time of year, there will be an empty place setting at Christmas. A seat that is empty and a gift that will not be given or received. While this will be met with moments of sadness, there is also great joy - especially for those who live life with a view of eternity under God's Lordship. This week we will watch a celebration of a man's life. A leader of our country - President George H. W. Bush. Regardless of if you agreed or disagreed with his positions, politics, and policies, he had one view that held firm - he lived "to the Lord." And when we live life and death to the Lord, they will both be done exceedingly well.
