If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Galatians 5:25-26

Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?  Amos 3:3

"Keep up with me." Have you ever gone for a walk, hike or bike ride with someone who couldn't seem to keep up? It's easy to lose someone, or even become irritated when they don't keep in step with the leader. We have been given the Holy Spirit as our leader and guide and he's living, moving, calling, and leading and in this life, we must remain in step with Him.

Keeping in step with the Spirit infers that as He moves, we move. It keeps a man from "wandering off" into dangerous terrain or "getting lost" by heading down the wrong path. To live life in the best direction, it is important to walk, hike or ride the right path but it's equally if not more important to stay lock-step with the right leader. Pay careful attention to the way the Spirit leads today. Be focused on Him, the person of the Spirit and a man's potential to wander is far less.

DO THIS TODAY: Pay attention to where God is leading you and don't be distracted.
