God’s Arms Are Always Open

Men, leave your jar.

Jesus, tired from his journey rested by a well. A Samaritan woman came to the well with her jar seeking water. Jesus let her know that the well water wouldn’t satisfy her soul.

Jesus said, “but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” -John 4:14

The woman asked Jesus for his satisfying water and was so refreshed that she left her jar behind to run and tell the other people in town.

Jesus is waiting at the well for us every day.

We must leave our jars and whatever “things” we try to fill our hearts with like the Samaritan woman did. Instead, we must go to Jesus.

Ask Him for his “satisfying water" today and your heart will flow with the wellsprings of life.

God’s arms are always open.
