He Does Impossible Things

He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the Lord. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in former years. —  Malachi 3:3-4

So leaders get replaced when they haven't done a good job. And that's what God says he is going to do here. He will replace all these spiritual leaders who have done an inferior job. Except God is going to go one step further. He is not only going to replace them with a better spiritual leader, who is Jesus. He is going to purify these spiritual leaders. He is going to use Jesus to replace and refine them. He is going to simultaneously replace, reform, and restore them. This is a genius move by God. It's strategic, intentional, systematic, and seemingly impossible.

I want you to know today that there is nothing God cannot do in your life. When situations look impossible, you must remember they will always be possible for God. God can see his way through every impossibility. He can see through the complexity of incomprehensible sin, corrupt leadership, and even the situation that has you confused. And I can tell you where to find the solution. It's always found, every single time, the man named Jesus. He is the only solution God has for every complicated situation.

ASK THIS: What impossible situation are you facing today?

DO THIS: Look to Jesus. He is the solution.

PRAY THIS: God, send your son, Jesus, to me today.

PLAY THIS: His Name Is Jesus.

Thanks Vince for another awesome devotional and reassurance that God IS the God of second chances. I’m a living example (among many!) of God’s grace and love, praise God that he refined me, purified me and delivered me from incomprehensible sin. Brothers, no matter what your situation, your sin, your challenges – our God is awesome, and in HIS time and HIS way – he’ll bring you through it a stronger, better man. Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith, place your trust in Him. I learned a long time ago to just stand down, get out of His way, and let Him restore me, refine and remake me in His image. Praying for and with those of you who find yourselves in those complicated, painful, confusing situations.

Are you setup as a 501c(3)? If so, what’s the name and address?

Thanks!

Thanks Vince, I needed this today. I have done the incomprehensible and my family is destroyed. I know I can’t fix this and need Jesus to restore my family. I know He can and I hope He does. I struggle with the question of He can but what if He chooses not too?

B – brother, remember that our time table in His might be very different. God is working right now in your life and through your situation, we may not get the answer we want. Trust God to bring you through this, and allow Him to restore you and to bring peace to a difficult and painful situation. God brought me through incomprehensible sin – He’ll do the same for you. Stay focused on Jesus, keep the faith, pray without ceasing, reach out to brothers in Christ, and allow Him to walk you through, the question of if he chooses not to might be a place where doubt enters and Satan would love to use that to keep you confused. I had to work through this too my friend, just remember, our God is NOT a God of confusion! You’re in my prayers brother.

AMEN!!!
