HONEST FEET

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Romans 10:12-15

Footwork is a concept that goes far beyond the world of athletics. Feet are talked about in the bible in numerous different ways. The author of Proverbs goes out of the way to talk about the feet of a sinful man that quickly rush into evil. In Romans, we see a different description of those carrying the gospel message. Believe it or not, the most honest part of the body is not the face; it is the feet. The feet of a man quickly and accurately represent the inner workings.

Feet are not just a physical foundation; they reflect the heart. Paying attention to the position of your feet will give you an idea of the condition of your heart. To become the kind of man that instinctively moves into godly action, don't focus on your footwork. Taking time to discipline and train your inner man will cause you to run in the right direction.

DO THIS TODAY: Ask God to discipline your inner man.
