"He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.”—Psalm 107:29

Storms come in all shapes and sizes. Some are big, and some are small. Some are emotional, and others are spiritual. In the case above, God references the physical—His physical power over a physical storm. And why does he do illustrate this? To give us proof that he has command over things as natural, real, and present to us like the waves of the seas blown by the wind into a torrent. If God can command this, something you cannot control, can he not also control other things that you cannot control? Is not the logic simple? If then this is true, then believe it. He has the power to hush the storms you encounter today both emotionally and spiritually, big and small.
