I Will Look Up

Our heart has all kinds of plans, does it not? There are things we want to do and plans we make to get there. And then one day we discover that God "highjacks" them all—or does he? Might it be that our way and his steps are just a little out of sync? That our heart sees a limited future, and that God sees beyond human limits. What if God was instead not highjacking our plans, but directing our steps to prevent our demise. What if instead, God was directing a step today to provide a better plan? If so, should we not trust him and let him establish the best next step?

DO THIS: Take the step God wants you to take, even when you don't.

PRAY THIS: God, I look up today and believe that you are my Lord and will trust you again with my life. Forgive me for my resistance!
