It Will Be Given

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.—Matthew 7:8

There are plenty of good things to ask God for. The problem is not God. It sure seems like he wants to give. God is poised for action. He loves to do good things. But we, his subjects, need to ask, seek, and knock.

So here's the obvious question—"How often do you engage in these activities?"

These activities are the qualifiers of a godly man of action. Initially, it does not matter how perfectly you do them; what matters is that you do them. So do you need something that only God can provide? Don't sit around and do nothing. Do something! What do you need to ask, seek, or knock?

Hay muchas cosas buenas que pedirle a Dios. El problema no es Dios. Seguro que parece que quiere dar. Dios está listo para la acción. Le encanta hacer cosas buenas. Pero nosotros, sus súbditos, necesitamos preguntar, buscar y llamar.

Así que aquí está la pregunta obvia: "¿Con qué frecuencia participa en estas actividades?"

Estas actividades son los calificativos de un hombre de acción piadoso. Inicialmente, no importa qué tan perfectamente los haga; lo que importa es que las hagas tú. Entonces, ¿necesita algo que solo Dios pueda proporcionar? No se siente y no haga nada. ¡Hacer algo! ¿Qué necesitas preguntar, buscar o llamar?
