It’s Peace You Need

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.—John 16:33

These are some comforting words from Jesus. They affirm the fact that we fear the tribulation of this world, but they also admonish us to trust in Him for the peace we all want. His only request is this—take heart and trust in the promise that he has overcome the world.

DO THIS: While the present situation is bleak, trust that God's victory is certain.

PRAY THIS: God, the world feels like it is crumbling. Give me peace and faith in you during these uncertain times.
