“And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. I have come into the world as light so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.”
John 12:44-47
Jesus was the perfect example of a man who never strayed from his mission. A mission that was given Him by the Father. A mission that both revealed God and His plan of salvation. Jesus came to save the world. All men wrestle with purpose. Questions about who they are and what they are meant to do swirl in the minds of men at the most honest and sobering of moments. Jesus paints a picture of focused determination. And as His disciples, we get a glimpse into our purpose. As you prepare to lead those around you through the Easter season, be as focused as Christ in revealing the meaning of celebrating His death and resurrection. Shed light on the season by purposefully being a disciple of Jesus to all those around you.
CHALLENGE: Pray that God would give you an opportunity to share your faith with another man.
