In the past, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Hebrews 1:1-3 

Being a man of God requires being impressed on by God. Being impressed on means having Jesus's influence in your life. Like a handprint in wet cement, the people we spend time with leave a mark. We are influenced by conversations, time spent, and connection to people in our lives. This realization should cause us as men to evaluate how those around us affect us.

The word used for "representation" here is the Greek word, "character." It means a perfect impression. Therefore, if any man wants to know God, Jesus is the way. The Divine Son is an excellent impression of God, revealing to us exactly what He is like. Studying Jesus and becoming His disciple is the pathway to being Gods man. Be with Jesus by reflecting on words, actions, and example. Let His influence be the greatest.
