The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” 

 Judges 6:11-12 

Gideon is called a mighty warrior, he is promised that the Lord's presence would be with him, and he was given miraculous signs to make sure it was the Lord behind it all. The only thing required of Gideon was a willingness to answer the call of God. The Lord invites and involves men in His plans. Are you willing to join God in His work?

Men, we are all called to go and make disciples. This is the most widespread example of how God involves men in His coming Kingdom. Look for ways to introduce those around you to the Lord. Have confidence that God is both calling you to do His work and providing you the opportunity to do so. Know that the presence of the Lord is with you, mighty warrior.
