Let’s Turn Up The Temperature

"And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: 'The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation. "'I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.—Revelation 3:14-16

Someone knows. God knows. And John the Revelator knows because he saw it in his vision. There was a church situated in the valley between Colossae and Hierapolis. It was a thriving metropolis where banking, healthcare, and clothing industries were booming. The only thing that wasn't expanding was the message of truth. But like temped water, this church lacked the satisfaction of being either hot or cold. They, therefore, would be forcibly vomited from God's mouth in a show of disgust. The lesson being, don't be that church and don't be that guy. Instead, choose. Either turn down the spiritual temperature or turn it up. There is no middle option for the Christian man—unless you prefer to be force ejected like vomit by the mouth of God.

DO THIS: Turn up your desire, discipleship, determination, and do it with haste—God is purging his church.
