Linger Not

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.—Psalm 1:1

Merely "walking, standing, and sitting" in the presence of "sinful, wicked, and scoffing" men has a disastrous effect. It impacts our thinking, attitudes, and actions. This is because lingering with "bad company ruins good morals." (1 Corinthians 15:33).

The longer you live, the more you discover the blessing of having great men in your life — men who are a blessing to you for just having spent time with them. Their counsel is life. It makes you better. Spend more time with these people, and you will be blessed.

DO THIS: Linger with great men today, and linger less with the others.

PRAYER: God, give me the strength today to stop lingering with the wrong men and linger more with righteous men.

Great men know great men so our band of brothers continues to grow which is all in God’s plan. So rewarding to be a part of it!
