Live Encouraged

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.—Hebrews 10:23-25

Wouldn't you like to have one "unwavering day" this week? If so, hold fast to something stable like your "confession of hope" because God is firm, stable, unmoving, and always "faithful." With this knowledge, you should be "encouraged," but you should also be "encouraging" to others. This is one of many reasons you need to "not neglect" relationships with other men. Doing life alone is unencouraging, and in loneliness, you will always waver. Instead, be a brother today and encourage someone. After all, there will be days you will need it too.

DO THIS: Live encouraged and be encouraged, by sharing this devotional with someone else.

PRAY THIS: God, give me a moment today to encourage someone else. May I be a source of strength when they need it most.
