Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.—Matthew 7:24-26
Since everyone hears, there are only two choices for all men—hear and act or hear and don't act. And the choice we each make is the difference between wise and foolish, rock and sand, and built to last and built for looks. And fellas heed the words and warning because there's a storm coming and it's imminent. The storm falls, blows, and beats on all men, but there's only one who endures—it's the one whose hope is built on the rock.
DO THIS: Hear and act upon the Words of Christ.
PRAY THIS: God, all else is sinking sand. Help me today to place my hope in your words alone.
