Never Removed

"For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed." —Isaiah 54:10

Everything is subject to change in this life because we live inside a closed system. This closed system, by natural law, will gradually breakdown and thus be changed. We watch this occur daily as the seasons and our culture changes. And you experience it within your very body.

But Isaiah, the prophet, observes two things that invade this space and time continuum and our closed system. He sees them in contrast to the changing landscape. First, God's "steadfast love," and second, his "covenant of peace." These two divine laws penetrate our closed system and natural law and will not "depart" or "be removed." They can be trusted and will survive the length of your days and even beyond the natural law.

DO THIS: In change, be immovable by trusting God's divine laws.

PRAYER: God, the change of life can unsettle me. It distracts me and tests my faith in you and your covenant. Today I am taking you at your word. You're unmoved, and in you will, I have hope.
