Leadership is solving problems. The day soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you have stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help or concluded you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership. —

Colin Powell

Great quote right!

Now imagine as the Divine being posed with the greatest problem of all the time — the issue of planetary sin that has impacted every single person who has ever lived on the face of earth. But add a level of complexity to this problem since you know that a solution is needed that will not alter your Divine holiness yet allow you to deal in finality with human sin. Think of the divine complexity of holding to attributes & character of perfect holiness yet still getting “dirty” with and in the sin problem without sinning. Add to this the fact that sin has to be punished & forgiven simultaneously and that love & justice must coexist! And throw in the theological fact that humans can do nothing about this and only a perfect and holy Trinitarian God can reconcile it. Herein is the greatest problem (sin) resolved in the Divine solution (Jesus) and there you have the greatest leader who ever lived solving the most profound problem of all time.

None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.

Romans 3:10-12

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:3-10
