Peace
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding."—Philippians 4:7
Everyone at some point desires peace. Peace from conflicts. Peace from pain. Peace from the clutter, confusion, and busyness. And it's right about when we've hit our wits end that we cry out to God—give me some "peace." But we cannot have the peace of God without making peace with God. For this is where peace begins—it begins when we stop battling with him and let him battle for us. It is at this point we discover peace "which surpasses all understanding."
DO THIS: Make peace with God.
PRAYER: God, I need to stop fighting with you and let you fight for me. For God, my battling has not led me to peace but only war with you. Please extend to me your peace.
