Praise Through

Men, do you like hard things? I don’t.

Watching loved ones suffer, like when my mom went through 13 rounds of chemo, is unbearable to see. Although I didn’t share it at her funeral, I kept hearing Job’s verse repeating in my head: “The Lord gives and the Lord takes.”

Whatever pain you or your loved one is facing, I pray that God gives you the grace and strength to praise through until you breakthrough.

Job praised through the pain:

He said, "I came naked from my mother's womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The LORD gave me what I had, and the LORD has taken it away. Praise the name of the LORD!" -Job 1:21
