Relationship Gaslight
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life." John 14:6
"Gaslighting" is a relational term used when someone causes you to doubt your thoughts, feelings, and actions so much that you become confused by their lack of clarity. Often in a relationship with a person like this, you will feel like you're losing your mind. People who "gaslight" will often deny statements you heard them make, criticize your character, undermine your ideas, and involve others in allegiances against you. Have you been here? At work? In your home? Within previous relationships?
Well, Jesus is not this kind of man or this type of relationship. He never gaslights. He only speaks "the truth." And because of this, he is true and trustworthy —the way, truth, and life you long for. Why not give him a chance today?
DO THIS: Make Jesus your first relationship and trust Him.
PRAYER: God, while other relationships fail me will you come and be faithful to me? Teach me to trust and lean on you. Show me your faithfulness.
