You and I have both done it. When a situation goes awry, we dig in, lean in, and attempt to alter, fix, correct, adjust, and modify. And yes, sometimes this is required. But wiser is the man who understands that sometimes our attempts are ineffective. They sometimes only complicate the issue, problem, obstacle, and challenges we face. So today, do "not be afraid." Choose to "trust." Say it to yourself—"I will trust!" For "God is your salvation" and nothing else. He is the only one who saves. That's his job. It's his title. Let him do it and stop getting in his way.

"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid"—Isaiah 12:2
