Shelter From Pestilence

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.—Psalm 91:1-3

Are you looking to escape the pestilence? Then your call to action is simple—abide. Abide in the shelter of the Most High God and remain in his shadow. For it is in God that we trust. Notice we don't place our faith in shelters, science, social distance, or strategies derived from human ingenuity—nope, we place our faith in a person—specifically God alone. For it is God who is our refuge, fortress, and deliverer. It is, has been, and always will be God who rescues. So today, don't merely "shelter in place," trusting only in human ingenuity, take shelter in the Almighty God.

DO THIS: Trust more in God today, than you did yesterday.

PRAYER: God, when I race to trust in other things, bring me back to trust in You.
