"For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.” Titus 3:3

"At one time," that is a time in your past, you were spiritually incontinent - you had uncontrolled urges. Urges that now are embarrassing to admit because they were "foolish and disobedient." This former condition enslaved you and led to hate, malice, and discord. But this is no longer the case! Today you are redeemed, renewed, restored, and restrained by the Spirit. Live today controlled by the Spirit not by the natural urges familiar to your former state of spiritual incontinence.

DO THIS: Live restrained by the Spirit.

PRAYER: God, I used to live uncontrolled, and that former life is now troubling to me. Strengthen me as I learn to guide these urges and desires, and help me to desire you.
