Take a Breath

Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.—Genesis 2:7

With great care, God came near forming us with his hands. But our first breath was exhaled by God and inhaled by our lungs. And by this means, he gives life to a creature like no other—man. That's you, my brother. And that breath you took—just now—was first given to you by the Lord God.
