David and Goliath is a classic story. There are elements of war, fear, courage, and great conflict. The champion of one nation against the other, winner take all. As much as David is a physical underdog here, there is one hero-like characteristic that is rarely talked about. This very trait is uncommon, but any man at any time can deploy it.

A hero sees what everyone else sees, yet they do what no one does. Heroes take appropriate action. David, like everyone else present, saw Goliath. The difference was David did something about it. This hero-like character trait is transferable to any man. No training necessary. You don't need an extensive list of superpowers. Any man at any time can act as David did. He understood the situation, God's heart, and became God's man by taking action.
