“This is the best leadership development program I’ve seen yet!” — Mike O.
“Resolute to me has been the focal point in my life the last year that doesn’t waiver. While my family, relationships, and business changes and ebbs and flows, your leadership and consistent weekly deposit in my life has given me an example on how to live my life. I’ve learned to read and re-read the Word until God speaks to me. I do feel my mind is being transformed to the likeness of Jesus!” —

“Joining Resolute has given me the tools to not only open and understand God’s Word better but also challenged me to look in the mirror and really think about the areas in which I fall short. From there, I am then challenged weekly/daily commit to what it will truly take to, confront and work through those areas to become the man Christ wants me to be (for which he paid the ultimately price on my behalf).” —

“The process of diving deeply into God’s Word with other men each and every week has transformed my life from the inside out. Every area of my life has changed – my business, my marriage, my walk with God, my purity, and my relationships. I now make more decisive decisions, cherish my wife more that any other time in our 25 years, and it has allowed me to choose Joy despite life’s circumstances.” —

“First of all I would like to begin by saying I am very grateful to have found Resolute! After trying to quit chewing tobacco on my own for years, I found through Christ the strength. It was Resolute that helped convict me and realize I needed to change and eventually look to him for the strength.” —

“For me, Resolute has meant deepening my relationship with Jesus Christ and God’s Word most of all. Day 1 I had a burning desire to really know Him, not just know about him. Peace and assurance of my salvation has never been greater due to not only our teaching, but because of the true brotherhood we have together, both in the cohort I participate in and those I lead.” —

The prayer time this week was significant for me. The Holy Spirit was leading me to pray for/about things that were talked about and that the facilitator steered us toward. I was shown an area that needed confession that I had never thought about before. I literally had a breakthrough during the prayer. —

“Resolute has helped me to further open my eyes and my heart to be the man of God that our Father wants me to be. Resolute has also helped me see that even though I am not perfect I want to continue to grow as a Christ follower and to help others grow in their faith.” —

“Vince – you’re faith, obedience and vision has been truly inspirational in my own faith walk. Resolute has been more than just a ‘weekly feel good’ meeting. It has already developed solid fruit and principles in my life that have changed my life significantly for the Lord.” —

“After just one week of truly being ‘dialed in’ to studying the Word, I am closer to Jesus than I’ve been in 24 years. See, 24 years ago, I ‘prayed a prayer’ and knew I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I also read the Bible, usually with varying degrees of inspiration and relying on how I felt about what I was reading. I even thought I was a mature Christian. Little did I know that I never really knew Jesus until recently. In the past week, I read the Bible with more conviction and understanding and thought, so that, along with quiet, prayer, and meditation, have grown much closer to Christ than ever.” —

“After a few weeks of Resolute training, I’m reminded of the fact that I don’t spend near enough time reading God’s word. But He revealed that there is a depth and richness that I have been missing as well. Looking forward to what else He will reveal along the way for me and my son.” —

“I’ve been truly inspired by the commitment to this process. I’ve also realized the the value reading the Bible inductively within a group of other men who are doing the same. I have never been involved in a group like this and it is energizing my walk with God in ways I’ve not experienced before. I’ve been in a Christian learning environment my entire life (grade school through seminary) and I realized after listening to the group audio from Monday that much is assumed. Even in seminary, it was assumed that the students knew the differences between bible versions and the nuances that came with them. I sure wish the subject matter that was discussed Monday had been a class available to me to me in seminary. The framing of the content was very practical and helpful as I think through what the original author meant to communicate to the original audience. I’m looking forward to the next time we meet to discuss the life-giving truth found in the Word! —

Over the last four weeks of Cohort Sessions what has stood out to me as a big improvement in my life has been learning how to read and study God’s Word. Before, I just read the Bible each day, but never really remembering or understanding completely the meanings of each passage. Now I really dig into what I am reading and am understanding much more clearly what the Word says. I have also come to understand that God is in total control of all things, not me; so I have begun to “let go and let God.” As a result, I don’t get stressed about things, because God’s on the job. —

After seven weeks of intense, well-guided, inductive studying of the Word of God, I’m already beginning to realize what it will take of me to become a true and faithful man of God. “What does that mean?” you may ask. It means to become the type of man that will stand in the gap (Ez. 22:30) for his faith, his family, his friends, his cohorts, his coworkers, his leaders, and his country–and to be resolute in pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward calling of Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:14)! —

Resolute has had a tremendous impact on my life both spiritually and physically in a few short weeks. To be honest, the commitment required seems daunting…how in a life already so busy can I make a commitment like this? But, the call from God, the pull on my heart and spirit was undeniably strong to make this commitment. After a couple months I cannot imagine my life without Resolute! I look forward to our morning meetings every single week and my spirit rejoices. God is powerfully at work through the facilitator and in this ministry. Each week it is like our leader knows exactly what is going on in my life and has prepared the lesson and the discussion and the prayer around me, and where I am at…what I need to hear, how I need to grow. I believe all of the men that meet together each week would all convey a similar feeling. This can only come from God and I am closer to God now than I have been since I first came to Christ many years ago. I cannot put into words the impact that Resolute has had on me in a few short weeks. The impact is significant enough that my wife has noticed changes in me…and we have both on multiple occasions thanked God for the ministry of Resolute. The facilitator has tremendous knowledge of the Bible and of the Spirit. I consider myself a very astute student of the Bible (to include Seminary), but the teachings, insights and understanding continually challenge me and take me deeper into the Gospel…deeper into our God! When I came to Resolute my goal was to learn how to more closely walk with Jesus. I realize now that goal was not at all what God had in mind. God wants me to learn how to walk with Jesus on the water. The power of God in and through one man is an awe inspiring, life-changing, world-changing thing. That is what Resolute is about and that is what it is ushering into my life. We are more than conquerers in Him…in Him all things are made possible.

With the onset of a new job complete with the stress, pressure and expectations associated with being a leader in a Fortune 100 company, the amount of work can not only seem overwhelming, but also prove to be all-consuming. Having a hard work ethic instilled from an early age, combined with an intense drive to succeed and achieve can be a combination that while may bring with it the temporal rewards of the world, also can bring with it a widening gap in the journey to be a Kingdom Man in pursuit of God’s heart and fulfilling His purpose for me in this life. I have no doubt that the Lord led me to join Resolute. During these past 7 or 8 weeks since undertaking this journey the large growth that has occurred combined with increased discipline and new and sharper tools provided has led me to the point where my “compass” is getting more aligned with the path God intended for me to follow.

I too am excited to see the Christ-like bond that is forming between us men as we come together each week. I truly can sense how it must have been for the disciples of Jesus as they spent each day with Him. Just think of what it must have been like to hear the Word being preached for the first time from the One who was, and is, the Word! My prayer for you, and for our entire group of men, is that we grow close as brothers, so close that we can and will share any and everything of our lives’ experiences. I’m honored to be a part of this group of men, and as such, I look forward to learning everything I can from each of you brothers.

I am sitting here reflecting late this evening and thinking about the growth individually and the growth as a group of men that I have witnessed thus far in our journey that began on April 29th. The last week alone is truly a testimony to the trust and bonds that are forming as a brotherhood. We are slowly confessing our trials and tribulations similar to the Milestone exercise we took part in today. We all have our highs and lows. Together, we will walk the journey of life as Disciples, Leaders, and MEN.

I know Resolute is putting men on the right path – God’s path – towards becoming the disciples and leaders we were created to be. I am convinced that every man who call’s himself a “Christian” needs a study like this.

As a leader in the church, I know how difficult it can be to find a quality, reliable individual to fill in in any position. Vince Miller is such an individual. I just finished a 3 month sabbatical and Vince led our people with direction and understanding. He went to great lengths to find out the intricacies of our congregation and then shape a plan to lead the staff and teach the congregation through his time with us. I returned to a congregation that was happy, healthy, and well cared for. I would highly recommend Vince to fill in at your church, whether it’s a few weeks or months, he will lead and disciple with eagerness and excellence. He is well versed in leadership of churches large and small with experience leading multi-staff environments and has a heart and passion for discipleship as way of life. We would be happy to call on him in the future without reservation.

I’ve been a believer for 27 years, having gone to church as a kid and left it as a young man. I can’t think of a time when I didn’t know about the Bible and the basics of Christianity. The stories have been known, if not familiar, for a lifetime. Maybe that’s one of the reasons that it’s easy to take the Word for granted, or to dismiss parts of it as uninteresting or unnecessary. What Resolute does in contrast, is to, first, remind us, vehemently, that this is God Himself speaking to us — there is nothing in Scripture that isn’t life-alteringly important and crucial. I love how much we love the Bible which invites me to increase my affection as well.

Thank you so much for investing in my husband’s life. I am certainly seeing some amazing changes and huge growth. I am seeing him walk in humility and put others needs before his own in a healthy way. He is listening well, acknowledging feelings and being respectful. He is sticking through tough conversations and we have stopped fighting in front of our children, in fact we play well as a family in our weird divorced, let’s make this work for the sake of our kids, God honoring kind of way. Thank you for creating Resolute and providing an avenue to push and support men to grow and become the leaders our society deeply needs. I am beyond grateful that through the addiction and pain we are able to experience a peace and grace I never thought possible. I am excited to see what the next year and new chapter brings.
