The Antichrist Predicted
So let's back up. Daniel has a vision, and in the image, a man in the courtroom of God is helping him interpret it. And the next part of the vision he's going to explain is this strange "horn," which arises from this beast mentioned in verse 8 and again in verse 20.
As for the ten horns,
out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise,
and another shall arise after them;
he shall be different from the former ones,
and shall put down three kings.
He shall speak words against the Most High,
and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,
and shall think to change the times and the law;
and they shall be given into his hand
for a time, times, and half a time.
But the court shall sit in judgment,
and his dominion shall be taken away,
to be consumed and destroyed to the end. — Daniel 7:24-26
So this man tells Daniel about the coming of the Antichrist. This is the same Antichrist foretold in the book of Revelations, meaning that both Daniel and John see the arrival of this man. And he will rise in power like the Roman Empire, but he will be more vicious. And three things will happen during his reign. First, he will defile God. Second, he will wear down believers. Third, he will revise anything having to do with God, even altering seasons and laws. And for some time, he's going to be very strong. Without a doubt, I feel like we are moving in this direction in our world.
What Daniel see's is future suffering. But remember, Daniel has suffered. For 70 years, he has suffered under horrible kings. But in this night vision, he learns the suffering will get worse. That people ahead of Daniel are going to suffer more. This means we need to get ready. We need to be prepared to suffer even more than Daniel because suffering is coming, and now is the time to equip men who are prepared to suffer.
And while we prepare our minds, hearts, and behaviors for suffering, you need to remember Daniel 7:26. Let me reread it. It states:
But the court shall sit in judgment,
and his dominion shall be taken away,
to be consumed and destroyed to the end. — Daniel 7:26
God declares that two factors will limit the Antichrist and the suffering he will perpetuate. First, by time, because God determines time. Second, by dominion, because God has ultimate power. So fellas, train yourself to remember these two things every time you suffer. Daniel was given this vision and the interpretation for us so that as we suffer, we have an anchor for our souls.

Praying for you all as well ✝️❤️
It prepares me because I know Christ already won on the cross ! He suffered the most and we all should we willing to suffer for the gospel and for each-other I know that’s somtimes hard to practice but helping guide one soul to Jesus means that person can live for eternity and share the love that god has provided for those that love him need not worry men Jesus has won and you are his warriors !
What helps me is that I read the end of the book, in the end we win! We are not victims, we are victors in Yeshua! Walk in it.
God, come again and soon. End all suffering.
Amen
With an eternal perspective, all things end with us in heaven!
God possesses time and dominion helps me suffer because He will not give us more than we can handle in our limited time on earth and ultimately, spoiler alert, He is victorious in the end. The demons and antichrist are stupid goofy, but really, they are just like little children, drunk with power and ready to rebel against the authority figure that GAVE them power in the first place, forgetting that the Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Brothers, be encouraged and EXCITED to suffer FOR Christ, as the Apostle Paul did as well as the other 10 who did not betray Him. Let’s also remember that they were human too, just like us, they were afraid at times, at THE MOST CRUCIAL time, they abandoned Him to preserve their own life, but this was also before they had The Holy Spirit living in them. Once they were indwelt with The Spirit, they were THEN ready to suffer for Him. WE already have The Spirit indwelt in us, let us be ready to suffer brothers.
Romans 5:3-5: (NIV)
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Losing a limb of my body has been probably the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I’m use to getting up and going wherever I want whenever I want . Losing my leg has put me in a place where I have to depend on people and their time to go where I need to go. I’m at their mercy and this has been very hard on me. Suffering has a whole new meaning to me. However it’s not forever. When my wounds are healed God will provide for me a prosthetic leg to be mobile again. These last few months has been very hard but I keep focusing on God and try to listen to his whispers on how this will bring him glory….
Praying for you, brother. For strength that only God supplies.
Thanks Jason. God has given more strength than I ever knew I had . TO HIS GLORY!!!
Donnie,
Stand strong Brother. God is going to use you mightily and you are going to be helping others. Praying that God comfort you and strengthen you.
Reading and imagining your suffering humbles me in my own suffering and seeing your strength and how you are patiently waiting for the time to give God glory and already trusting HIm for it to be there…. my hat is off to you sir and you have my admiration.
Thanks Trent. I’m starting to see that that sharing of my suffering is in some way a means to maybe reach others about giving glory to God in adversity. 🙏🏻
Thank God that our suffering worketh for us a far more exceeding weight of glory. My prayer brothers that you would count it joy to suffer for Christ, be encourage.
Thank you for being so transparent with the Word, love the application and truth!!
We need this revelation Now!!
TRUTH – Thanks for proclaiming the words I need to prepare!
Yes, and all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution.
2 Timothy 3:12
Are you living Godly? Society’s response will make this known.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for Righteousness’ sake! – (Jesus)
I am not good at suffering and am not sure how to get better. I typed a book and then erased to simplify (and maybe not have someone read and either call the loony bin or become depressed themselves),but to simply say pray for me. I feel like I am drowning.
Read, meditate on, believe and receive The Word into your mind and heart. It is God’s Divine food for your Spirit man. If you are in Christ, the same Spirit that brought Jesus back to life, lives in you and desires to be your strength. Let Him be! 🙏❤️
My battles are very much mental. I have good days and bad as I am sure we all do. I always know what I need to do. Sometimes I just cannot make myself do it. Thank you for your thoughts/advice.
Praying for you Trent! Are you in a men’s group of some kind? Make the decision to spend more time alone with our Heavenly Father to read and meditate on THE Word then listen for His still, small voice. He loves you with an everlasting love and desires to lead you in peace.
Matt. 11:28-30
John 14:27
Philippians 4:6-9
Isaiah 26:3-4
I am in a men’s small group. we had a meeting last night and man did it give me a boost. There is a reason why we are told not to forsake assembling. Whether we want to admit it or not, I usually don’t want to admit it, we need each other.
Praying for you Brother!
“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2 NIV
Thank you. Some stranger on the internet taking time to type out a bit of encouragement does more good than one might imagine.
Trent,
Re-adjust your focus. The enemy wants you to feel depressed. I pray that you look to Jesus Christ, He is our strength. Maybe you just need to re-calibrate your focus , spend more time in prayer and seeking God.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
This is my intention but in reality it plays out to be this
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
Always trying to improve and always needing a prod in the right direction. Thank you for taking the time to prod.
How does remembering that God possesses time and dominion help you to suffer better today?
Time….in the sense this suffering shall pass n to endure till the end….
Dominion….we also need to fight n press in as the saints also have dominion given by our God Almighty…..and ultimately He wins no matter what.
But what is confounding is ?
Don’t these demonic powers know that they are up against Yahweh…..
Le’Olam Vaed…?
Are they goofy stupid ?
Mystery !!!
Thanks Vince……Blessings🙏
