The Splendor of Jesus

“And he answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.
Luke 7:22

Now that is a message. A message worth sharing.

I cannot tell you how many times I have been excited about something and simply could not wait to tell someone about it. As guys, I think we get excited about silly things.

But this is the real thing. Sight. Walking. Hearing. And life from death. What could be more exciting than the miraculous? It is just like the early days of our faith. Do you remember those moments? Every lesson was full excitement. Every conversation was full of joy. Everything we discovered about Jesus was beyond cool. But where has that all gone? Has the busyness and the routine of life stolen the splendor of knowing Jesus? Why? He is the same Jesus today as he has always been, and your life as his man should be an adventure each and every day.
