"My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble." Proverbs 3:21-23.

It's essential to keep certain things always within reach. Two of those things are sound "wisdom and discretion." They are essentials you will want to possess and build for a lifetime. They are not passing skills, talents, and gifts. Instead, they are attributes of God's man. They guide the inner workings of your desires and are readily seen by others. Grow in them daily, and they will guide you and keep you from failure.

DO THIS: Learn to value wisdom and seek discernment.

PRAYER: God, I don't always make the best choices. But I want to. Please give me the wisdom and discretion of Solomon. Make me rich in truth.
