And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” —Mark 1:11

We all long to hear this voice. It's the voice of a loving father looking down on his son, saying:

• "That a boy!"
• "Great job, kiddo!"
• "You killed it, buddy!"
• "I'm so proud of you <insert your name here>."

As a son, you need to hear these words. So listen to them today from your Heavenly Father. And while you're not the perfect son or an ideal dad, know that you have one that looks on you with delight regardless of your sin and shame.

DO THIS: Let your Father love you.

PRAYER: God, is hard to know and embrace, but I believe that you love me. Help my heart to let you in, and give me the humility to be loved by you.
