"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14

When you were young in your faith, I bet you asked yourself more than one time why your friends did not understand your decision for faith in Christ. I bet many times when you took a stand; they seemed bewildered. Maybe because you were not joining in particular jokes, practicing the common language, or attending the recent events. But do not be surprised. The "natural person" does not understand. Your stand is like foolishness to them. They have not had the same awakening; therefore they are not yet "spiritually discerned." So stand fast my friend. Be resolute in your commitment, and you might sway them to the faith that they do not currently get.

DO THIS: Be discerning and stand fast.

PRAYER: God, be with my friends today who don't understand my faith, and help me to stand fast under pressure to participate in my former way of life.
