Too Lax In Judgment
Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.—Matthew 7:6
While we can be too judgmental (see yesterday's post), we now learn we can be too casual as well. Jesus suggests that unclean creatures should not get the best of what is holy. For Jesus understood they do not appreciate it's valued and therefore trample it.
Therefore as you navigate the day, give attention to whom you provide the best of what is holy from God. Use judgment in making this call and ensure to of the gospel is presented to those who will best hear it; otherwise, they will disgrace it an weaponize it in an attack on you.
DO THIS: Give the best to who will receive it the best.
PRAY THIS: God, please give me the opportunity today to provide the best of your message to those whom I come in contact.
HEAR THIS: Shane & Shane: Holy, Holy, Holy
