Vote For Prayer
"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way." 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Does it matter? You bet it matters. It's always a good time for "supplication, prayer, intercession, and thanks." Not just for your selfish desires, but for "all people." And don't forget those in "high positions." Today should be a call to prayer as we proceed to the polls tomorrow. Pray for those God would appoint to oversee our land in the Senate and House. Pray for their motives and choices as they advocate for our future. So pray. So vote. Or better yet, vote in prayer and prayerfully vote. Walk to your polls with a prayerful heart, and set your hate and animosity aside. But don't do nothing.
DO THIS: Pray the vote.
PRAYER: God, we pray for our leaders. May my choice be yours.
